Call for Proposals: Canada Caribbean Disaster Risk Management (CCDRM) Fund.

The Canada Caribbean Disaster Risk Management (CCDRM) Fund announces the third call for project proposals.
Grants will be made on a competitive basis to support small-scale projects at the community level that deliver measurable results in
natural disaster risk reduction and/or in the reduction of the negative impacts of climate change. Projects may range in duration from a
few months to two years in maximum duration.
Priority will be given to projects in the $25,000 to $75,000 CDN range. Projects outside this range may be considered on an exceptional basis;
however requests for project funding cannot exceed $100,000 CDN.
The CCDRM Fund is designed to support legally registered (or officially recognized), financially viable organizations from the following countries:
Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines,
Suriname, and Trinidad and Tobago.
Before preparing a proposal please review the guidance information provided in the “Guide for Project Submissions”. Project proposals must
follow the format shown in the “Application From”. Both documents as well as a list of Frequently Asked Questions can be downloaded from the

THE DEADLINE FOR PROJECT CONCEPT SUBMISSION IS: Sunday January 31st 2010 at 12:00 p.m. (GMT-04:00). Project proposals received
after this date will be reviewed under the fourth call for proposals in April 2010.
